Hand Harvested: Artists for Animal Adoption a new exhibition at TOJO Gallery, on view from May 1-26th, 2007 is a gallery event featuring 12 artists in the Chicago area. The artists express the problems of domestic animal over-population and related issues.

The overall focus on the event is to raise awareness to matters such as licensed pet shop animals, “puppy mills” and animal abuse. It is also meant to encourage future pet owners to rescue an already pure-breed instead of buying a puppy, or simply adopting an animal in need of a home.
